How AWESOME was Conference???
Man, it just gets better and better! The Brethren are cranking up the heat! I enjoyed so much all of the talks that were given! I hope you all enjoyed them! So many wonderful counsels, stories, testimonies, and special witnesses of our Savior! Elder Rodriguez and I went around all weekend just fired up haha!
I can’t even narrow down which one I liked most. I feel that everyone was powerful in its own way. Especially the one about marriage (Chan ;) ) I felt that Elder L. Tom Perry called the whole world to repentance! My whole mission I have had this thing for loving being BOLD and I feel the apostles threw down pretty boldly!
I as well can’t help but be touched every time I hear the words of our beloved prophet Thomas S. Monson. I KNOW that he is called of God. Without a shadow or sliver of a doubt. AND I am so righteously proud to be called by him and by the Lord to serve here in the great TMM!
As well, every conference I feel so grateful for my family and the great testimonies that you all have. I’m grateful that I was able to lean on yours until I got my own!
I LOVE THE GOSPEL! It’s just amazing! I love the deep and the simple and the complicated and the basic. It just makes sense! It’s just SOO true.

So this week was a pretty wild one. We have been working with the Abrego family again. I think I had mentioned that, and they are doing so great!! It is a HUGE family and now we finally have everyone on board! They were all geared up for church and we had given the dad a blessing so he could have the strength to bring them Sunday. In the lesson and in the blessing we told him that if he doesn't stop smoking than God was gonna humble him. He didn't stop and Saturday night he ended up in the ER. Prophecy fulfilled! So they called us. They couldn't make it to church cus they were in the hospital, but he assured us that he is done smoking and he believes us haha!
On Wednesday we had possibly the most incredible lesson I have had my whole mission. We literally had 15 people in their living room, all sat down (after a little herding) and we brought Sister Margie to help us. Needless to say she is AMAZING! But we had that whole family sitting down, quiet and listening to everything we said. I was joking cus it was such a big group and I asked E Rodriguez if he wanted to preside or conduct the meeting. But it is such an amazing family! I am just praying that they can get baptized this transfer, but as of right now it looks like it will be the week after. I feel like I may be transferred, but I don’t know. I’ve still got 2 weeks to find alot of people here and to hopefully see another baptism of ours come through. A young man named Mikey, we have been working with. But my time here is way too precious for me to waste. Oh yeah and p.s. Sabrina gets her Patriarchal blessing tonight!!
Speaking of time..... about Mom’s questions... I’m not coming home. haha!
Just kidding, but yes, BYUI is where I wanna be. If you could let me know what needs to be done, that would be great. I’ve been emailing Colt, but we only talk about mission stuff, not any of that haha!! And, no release date cus they only give you those when you are close to the end of your mission haha!! So it will be a while, and I would love for ya’ll to come down here. Like they said in conference, “The mission is a family affair” and I’ve got lots of peeps for ya’ll to meet.
As well, I wanted to ask if you could send back my camera memory card and I can send you this one. It’s about full again, haha!
